Mt. Olive – Christian Ed Board
T-shirt Design Contest – Rules Sheet
Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church is seeking a new t-shirt design for our congregation as we continue to proudly represent our church at church functions and in the community.
T-shirt Contest Rules and Guidelines:
  1. Your design should be inspired by the worship atmosphere, culture, and fellowship of the Mt. Olive family.
  2. The design is for the front of the t-shirt only.
  3. The design must include the Mt. Olive Logo. Logo will be upon request.
  4. Entries can be submitted by a board/auxiliary or by an individual. Limited to (1) entry.
Designs will be judged on the following criteria:
  • Included the Mt. Olive Logo
  • Originality
  • Creativity
  • Captures the Spirit of Mt. Olive
  • Visual presentation (eye catching)
  • Adherence to T-shirt design guidelines
Design specifications:
  • Art / image – high resolution; minimum 300 DPI
  • File type: PDF or AI; images should be high resolution JPG or PNG
  • Text: Font (i.e., Arial) and style (i.e., Italics)
  • Up to 2 solid colors for text. Include the recommended t-shirt color
The contest begins on Sunday, January 16, 2022 and you must submit your design by midnight ET, on Sunday, February 6, 2022. All entry emails MUST have in the subject line “2022 T-shirt Design Contest and include the board/auxiliary name or individual name. Entries MUST be emailed (1 email (including all 3 email addresses) to:

How Winners Are Selected –  There will be two rounds of voting:
Round 1: The Pastor and CEB Judges will select 3 finalists – week of February 7, 2022
Round 2: The members (1 vote per member) vote on the overall winning design using a phone app (TBD) or manual (email or paper) with a deadline to vote – week of February 10, 2022
The winning design will be announced on February 13, 2022. A prize will be awarded to the winning group or individual. T-shirt orders placed (paid in advance) February 13th through 20th. Mt. Olive T-shirt Day (wear your shirt in-person worship or virtual) March 27, 2022.
The winning design and image of the design will be recognized in our constant contact, easy worship and on social media platforms.
